Permission System, Extended Time Tracking & Vineyard Status

The previous role system in Vinitor was simple: admin, employee, done. In practice, however, businesses need finer gradations. The foreman should be able to create tasks but not see the billing. The seasonal worker needs GPS time tracking but no access to plant protection data.

The new permission system replaces the rigid roles with individual permissions. Every role — owner, manager, foreman, employee — comes with a sensible default set that can be refined per user. The permissions take effect everywhere — in the dashboard, in the mobile app and in the API. Existing users were migrated automatically: admins keep all rights, employees get the default permissions.

The new user pages show everything per employee at a glance: role, teams, assigned tasks and the salary model with a record.

Time tracking has been considerably extended at the same time. Alongside working hours, leave and sick leave can now be managed too. Employees request leave directly in the app, business managers approve with a tap.

For payroll there are configurable salary models per employee and a monthly overview with all relevant data.

Vineyards now have a status — active or inactive. Decommissioned areas disappear from the work lists but remain in the history. The new area time series show, directly from the vineyard overview, how the cultivated area has developed over time.
